Frequently Asked Questions

1. What song to choose as our wedding song?

You should choose any song that you like, and one that means something to you both. From a slow romantic love song, to an upbeat modern or Top 40′s song, and everything in between. No matter the song style, we can choreograph a beautiful dance for you on your chosen song. If you can’t decide on a song, bring in a selection of songs and our experienced teachers can help you make your choice based on your needs.

2. How many lessons will we need?

The total amount of lessons needed will vary depending on the couple and their desired outcome. From a simple elegant dance to a dance routine extravaganza,  depending on your desired result, you can have as many or as few lessons as you need. One tip is not to leave the dance lessons until the last minute! We recommend coming in 5-6 months before the date of the wedding.

3. What dance styles can we dance our wedding dance to?

Your chosen song or songs will indicate what style of dance we will teach you. Keep in mind that we choreograph all steps and figures for beautiful photos, no matter which dance style you will do. The most popular dance styles include the Waltz, Rumba, Foxtrot & Blues with other popular styles including Tango, Salsa, Bachata, Top 40′s, Swing, Cha cha, Viennese Waltz & Quickstep.

4. We are both beginners, with no dance experience, can we still learnt to dance?

Yes absolutely! We say that if you can walk, you can dance! Our experience in teaching wedding dance lessons will have even the most beginners feeling comfortable. We will help make you look good and dance easily from your very first dance lesson – that’s our promise to you.

5. What do we need to bring to our first lesson?

You will need to bring your chosen song or songs to your first lesson. Leave all the rest to us!

6. Who will teach us to dance?
